VP, Legal Sales

Our VP of Legal Sales will help launch our commercial business by landing the Artificial Law Clerk in its first major contract, working directly with our Founder. This individual will have the opportunity to lead a deal that is critically important to both parties and which makes a splash in the world of artificial intelligence.
The ideal candidate for this position has experience in large-ticket / institutional sales. Experience in the legal world is preferred.
The compensation for this position is hybrid of base plus commission with an emphasis on upside.
Legal Analyst

This position is ideal for a J.D. (or possibly an exceptional law student) who is seeking to apply and build legal expertise in a short- or mid-term project that is unique and intellectually challenging.
In this work, you will author informal, practical, but technical knowledge about the practice and body of law that will be fed into our artificial intelligence technology. In a sense, you will be teaching law to an artificial intelligence.
This project requires not only the careful application of legal knowledge, but also a bit of flexibility and creativity in bridging the rather different worlds of law and artificial intelligence.
Machine Learning Researcher
Short Engagement or Internship
No, I'm not interested in developing a powerful brain. All I'm after is just a mediocre brain, something like the President of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company.
This short-term engagement can be tailored to an experienced practitioner or to a newcomer to the artificial intelligence sub-field known as machine learning (ML). Either way, this position is all about building machine learning tools that work and are immediately useful.
If you are more experienced in this area, you have perhaps trained or even created your own ML models. The only absolute requirements for this position are: 1) some Python, 2) some Linux and 3) readiness to work in code and devops and data.

Technical experience is not required for this position. However, an interest in learning about technical topics is useful, as you may be asked to engage with technical material.
